Roundtrip tickets previously bought for an identical route ➡ 10% discount on return trip.

Notes on each type of fare

Passenger fares

  • One child under 6 years of age accompanied by an adult can board for free. When reserving a seat or a bed in a private room, a child’s fare will be assessed.
  • The child’s fare will be charged for children who have entered elementary school and for any additional children accompanying an adult.
  • Babies less than 1 year old are free.
  • Passenger discounts or premiums will be rounded up to the nearest 10-yen level.
  • When using the Suite or Comfort levels, a charter rate will be charged.

Vehicle fares / Special baggage

  • Vehicle fare allows the driver to board as a standard passenger.
  • Vehicle length will include all items loaded onto the vehicle.
  • Minicars must have engines less than 660cc and be no longer than 4m (for vehicles categorized as “minicars” during vehicle inspections).
  • Motorcycles with overhead coverings or sidecars and trikes are considered special cargo and assessed a sidecar or trike fare.
  • Vehicle discounts or premiums will be rounded up to the nearest 100-yen level when over 50 yen and rounded down when under 50 yen.
